HR Generalist

We are currently hiring for this very exciting and rewarding role. Our client, a Family ran Irish business is dedicated to providing high end services to their numerous reputable clients. This role will encompass the HR management and responsibility of 200+ staff members directly supported by the company owners and directors. This position will fast track the successful candidate to management level offering uncapped potential for growth and development. OB22

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Guiding management on employee relations and performance management.
  • Providing assistance on recruiting practices for all management and carrying out end to end recruitment on senior roles.
  • Inducting new employees.
  • Improving, implementing and administering human resources policies and procedures.
  • Overseeing the time management system and holiday accruals for all employees -this will include preparing and auditing a Micropay export file for the purposes of payroll processing.
  • Occasional payroll processing when required.
  • Working with senior management to implement strategic HR policies to achieve Company goals.
  • Handling complaints and disciplinary procedures for the company.
  • Assisting with employment laws issues.
  • Drafting contracts of employment and job descriptions from templates.
  • Basic HR administration duties.

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • 3+ years in a similar role
  • Have a strong ability to learn web-based systems and applications quickly and hit the ground running.
  • Have previous experience in employee relations procedures and performance management.
  • Have a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience with creating or enhancing structures, policies and processes.
  • Have strong admin capabilities and technology capabilities.
  • Have excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Be flexible and adaptable in approach to HR and understand that not all problems are solved with the same approach.
