Junior Health and Safety Officer

Working within our clients health & safety committee, you will be responsible for carrying out health and safety duties as directed by the QHSE Compliance Manager & Senior Management. Role Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the wider project teams for the implementation and monitoring of the Company’s QHSE Management System on the projects.
• Promote a positive H&S culture on-site with Site Management, Contractors, and Workers.
• Influence and coach site teams in the implementation of best practice QHSE standards.
• Management of documentation including RAMS review etc.
• Maintain and update relevant QHSE plans and documents on-site.
• Liaise with and provide advice to Site Management.
• Deliver site inductions and assist with toolbox talks.
• Support the management team on other duties as required. 
• Carry out site visits during projects and report findings.
• Carry out site inspections and report findings. 

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum H&S Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety/ Health & Safety Management.
• 1+ years’ experience working in a similar QHSE role in the construction industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be fluent in English.
• A problem solving and can- do attitude who is a team player.
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office.
