Security Control Room Operator

Role: Alarm Control Room Operator

Location – Dublin 24

Shift work – 12 hour shifts – 4 days over 7. 

Salary – €36k – €40k 

Role requirements: 

• Monitor alarms, CCTV, and other security systems in real-time.
• Assess and respond to alarms or incidents following established procedures.
• Dispatch security personnel or contact emergency services when necessary.
• Log all incidents, alarms, and responses accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain effective communication with team members, clients, and emergency responders.
• Perform regular system checks to ensure functionality and reliability of equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and answer any security-related inquiries.

Candidate Requirements:

• Prior experience in a control room or alarm monitoring environment preferred.
• Strong ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with alarm monitoring software is a plus.
• Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
