We are looking for an Sales administrator for one of our clients based in Dublin 24. The role involves delivering excellent customer service while driving sales growth through proactive customer engagement, quotation management, and order processing. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with trade customers, contractors, builders, merchants, and industrial clients.
- Handle incoming sales enquiries via phone, email, and in person where applicable.
- Prepare accurate quotations and convert them into sales orders.
- Follow up on outstanding quotations to maximise conversion rates.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products.
- Proactively contact existing customers to promote new products, special offers, and seasonal campaigns.
- Support external sales representatives with pricing, quotations, and customer information.
- process customer orders accurately using the company’s ERP system.
- Resolve customer queries relating to deliveries, stock availability, pricing, and returns.
- Liaise with warehouse and purchasing teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
Requirements:
- 2-3+ years’ experience in an internal sales, trade counter, or customer service role within the relevant industry.
- Experience within construction, builders’ merchants, engineering supplies, or industrial distribution.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.
- Experience using ERP or CRM systems.
- Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
