Role: Area Manager

Location: Limerick

Salary: €45-50k DOE

We are looking for an area manager for one of our clients based in Limerick. The role will include travelling around Limerick and the Munster area leading site-based teams, ensuring service excellence, maintaining client relationships, and achieving contractual KPIs. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of facilities management contracts across multiple client locations.
  • Conduct regular site audits and inspections to monitor service quality and compliance.
  • Develop and implement operational improvement plans to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key client stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings and performance reviews.
  • Respond promptly to client concerns and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Identify opportunities for contract expansion and additional services.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop site managers, supervisors, and operational teams.
  • Conduct performance reviews and development planning.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels and succession planning.
  • Promote a positive culture focused on safety, customer service, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage employee relations issues in line with company policies and employment legislation

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Facilities Management, Property Services, Building Services, or a related industry.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing multiple sites and operational teams.
  • Full clean drivers license, as role will involve travel- company car and fuel card provided.
  • Experience of client relationship management and contract performance management.
