Role: Bakery Shop Manager
Location: Dublin 8
Salary: €31,000 – €33,000
Role Requirements:
- Store Opening & Closing: Open and close the store as per operating hours, ensuring everything is prepared for business and properly secured at the end of the day.
- Cash Management: Oversee cash handling procedures, including daily cash reconciliations, safe management, and ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
- Staff Rostering: Manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours while staying within budgeted labour costs.
- Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times, handling customer complaints or concerns effectively and professionally.
- Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor stock levels, ensure proper inventory controls, and order supplies as needed to maintain the bakery’s daily operations.
- Staff Supervision & Training: Lead, train, and motivate the team to maintain high performance, providing coaching and development opportunities as necessary.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all food safety and health regulations, maintaining a clean and organised environment for staff and customers.
- Sales & Performance: Monitor sales and performance targets, implementing strategies to drive sales and improve profitability.
- Team Development: Foster a positive work culture by supporting and encouraging the team, ensuring high employee morale and retention.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in a managerial role, preferably in retail, food, or bakery environments.
- Strong understanding of cash management and financial processes.
- Experience in staff rostering and team management.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to resolve conflicts professionally.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food production or retail settings.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
