Role: Branch manager

Location: Dublin 12

Salary: €55-75k D.O.E

We are looking for an exceptional branch manager for one of our clients based in Dublin 12. We are looking for a candidate from a building, timber, or construction supplies industry with 5+ years experience in a similar role and proven experience managing teams, client management, and trade knowledge. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Achieve sales and Gross Profit targets
• Improve the performance of the Branch across a number of key performance measures.
• Ensure that standards are met for customer service excellence and experience.
• Build up and maintain good working relationships with customers and suppliers
• Effective liaison with external sales representatives regarding customer enquiries/orders/credit limits and their targets
• Quotation Management – ensure procedures are followed fully and effectively
• Maintain effective lines of communication with all staff, colleagues and departments
• Participate in Trade Shows representing the business to the highest standard
• Generate a culture of continued improvement through performance coaching and leading by example in terms of commitment, enthusiasm and drive.
• Ensure stock profile is adequate to service your local customers and their projects.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in people management, budget control, trade knowledge, health & safety compliance, and fleet management
• Full clean driver’s license
• Great knowledge of building supplies and construction industry
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
