Commercial Sales Manager

Location – Dublin 22

Salary – €80k

As commercial Sales Manager for the organisation, you will be pro-active in developing and implementing appropriate sales strategies in all business segments and marketing through published and social media. This will support your drive to maximise all revenues. Within this role you will have the opportunity to develop and support the group by working with the GM and the current sales team. The Group offers the successful candidate the opportunity to compete in some of the most competitive markets in Europe. The role is instrumental in supporting the Management to successfully achieve targeted revenue and position the business as leaders in their respective marketplaces. OB22

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor annual sales and marketing plans with the Sales team.
  • Managing all aspects of sales and marketing activities, ensuring sales resources are used to maximize revenue channels.
  • Proactive management of stakeholders with brands in relation to sales and marketing targets.
  • Manage and undertake local, regional, and national activities including trade shows, networking events, workshops, presentations, sales missions
  • Assisting in budget planning process.
  • Managing a large portfolio of existing accounts.
  • Support sales reps to achieve monthly sales targets for existing and new business accounts in agreed market segments.
  • Assist with identifying public relations opportunities for the Company and actioning as appropriate direct with media / organisation or through appointed Public Relations Company.
  • Delivering training and coaching to team members. Spotting re-training needs when they arise
  • Ensuring the team’s continual development, taking advantage of any training, workshop, and further education opportunities
  • Appropriate absence management
  • Use of the HR and payroll system

 

Requirements:

  • Experience of managing a sales and marketing team
  • Previous track record in working in refrigerated distribution
  • Excellent training/coaching skills
  • Ability to articulate and introduce change effectively.
  • Previous system experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Practical working experience across multiple brands
  • Excellent competencies in leadership, planning, organising, and influencing.
  • Commercial attitude and proactive sales approach
  • Ability and passion for delivering great customer service.
