Role: Direct sales executive

Location: nationwide (based in Dublin 12)

Salary: 50k D.O.E

We are seeking a motivated and commercially driven Direct Sales Representative for one of our clients based in Dublin 12. This is a field-based role covering the Republic of Ireland, and the successful candidate must be fully flexible in their availability and come from a scientific background; either from a relevant industry or hold a third level degree with sales experience. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build strong relationships with existing customers to maximise retention and account growth.
• Conduct regular customer visits across Ireland.
• Present and demonstrate scientific products and technical solutions.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate products.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial agreements, and close sales.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within the CRM system.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.

Requirements:

• Third level degree in a scientific discipline, e.g Histology, Biology, Biotechnology, is desired
• 2+ years’ experience in field sales or business development, ideally from a scientific industry
• Full clean Irish driving licence.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout Ireland, including overnight stays where necessary.
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
