Salary: €50k+ Car

Our client based in Dublin 12 are seeking an experienced Freight Sales Manager to join their team and help to develop and drive the team to create new revenue and build existing business. Suitable candidates will be coming from a freight role and have experience within both domestic and European freight. The role will involve overseeing 3 depot’s in UK and Ireland.  This will be a role that will progress with the right candidate and grow in both stature and financially. OB22

Role Requirements:

• Ability to lead and motivate a sales team effectively.
• Have a pipeline of prospective leads
• Experience in managing and developing sales personnel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to negotiate and close deals effectively.
• Full clean Drivers Licence as the role is predominantly on the road.
• Managing a team of two sales operatives.
• Proficiency in using sales management software and CRM tools.
• Capability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Candidate Requirements:

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Experience in implementing and optimising sales processes and systems.
• Full clean driving licence
• Excellent communications and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
• Strong understanding of logistics and transportation operations
• Track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
