Our well-known client based in Dublin 22 are currently seeking an experienced individual capable of delivering the highest standards of customer satisfaction and is driven to achieve sales targets to grow their team. The successful candidate will manage inbound customer interactions through phone, email, and face-to-face at their trade desk. This role is suited to a proactive individual with a solid understanding of construction equipment. Ideally this person will ensure a smooth sales process while meeting customer needs and maximising opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell the company’s products. OB22

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular check-ins and follow-ups with clients to assess satisfaction levels and address any issues or concerns.
  • Handle inbound customer inquiries, providing detailed product information and exceptional service.
  • Process orders and generate accurate quotes efficiently, following up to convert these quotes into sales.
  • Capitalise on opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell products during customer interactions, increasing sales volume and enhancing customer engagement.
  • Keep customers well-informed about the status of their orders, including any delays or updates, and manage expectations.
  • Collaborate daily with the workshop team on an ad-hoc basis to ensure orders are accurately fulfilled and dispatched on time.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and communications using CRM software.

 

Requirements

  • University degree in Engineering or Business is desirable.
  • 3 years or more experience with internal sales, sales development, or customer service, with a preference for experience in the lifting equipment industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to enhance customer experiences and manage sales administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, crucial for building customer relationships and meeting sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently prioritise tasks, and consistently meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
