Role: Part Qualified Accountant

Location: Dublin 12

Salary: €40-45k

We are looking for a part qualified accountant for one of our clients based in Dublin 12. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate currently pursuing a professional accounting qualification to further develop their technical and commercial accounting skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare counts to balance
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Reconcile supplier and customer accounts.
• Assist with cash collection and credit control activities.
• Process invoices and payment runs where required.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records.
• Assist with accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.

Requirements:

• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and SAP
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA part-qualified
• 2+ years’ experience in an accounting or finance role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication skills
