Retail Sales Representative

The responsibilities of the Sales Representative is to promote and sell our clients products and solutions to potential clients and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. This role involves understanding the aspects of business and markets, identifying customer needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs. The Sales Representative will collaborate with the sales team and management to achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of the company’s  product line. OB22

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect for new clients by researching and identifying potential leads.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s product offerings.
  • Present and explain the features and benefits of products to potential customers.
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales deals to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, requests, and concerns.

Technical Expertise:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the business and clients
  • Offer technical expertise to customers, helping them identify the best-suited solutions for their specific needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and advancements 
  • Research market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Gather and analyse customer feedback to provide insights for product improvements and new product development.

Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts.
  • Provide regular reports to management on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a related field is preferred
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the retail or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using sales CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
